Margaret Berry (nee Wynne)
November 4, 1915 - November 21, 2009
Margaret passed away peacefully but not without a fight. She did not “go gentle into the night”.
Survived by her sons, Michael (and wife Anna) and Stephen; grandchildren Eliza, Mark, Kathryn, Louigi, Hannah, Carmen, Gina, Darren and Daniella and great grandchildren Connor, Spencer, Mika, Kylia and Solomon. Pre-deceased by her husband Leonard and son Rodney.
Born in Bolton, England, Margaret (and Leonard) emigrated to Canada in 1954,but she never let go of her Lancashire heritage and her often feisty northern humour during her stays in Toronto, Ottawa, Victoria and Qualicum Beach.
She will be greatly missed by her extended family in Canada and the UK with whom she kept in close touch over the years.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be family
celebration of Margaret’s life.
Her ashes will be interred next to those of her son, Rodney, in the Riverview Cemetery, Merigomish, Nova Scotia.
