COOPER, Margaret Olive
Passed away gently in the night, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, May 8, 2004, in Port Alberni, at the age of 81 years.
Olive served as a sergeant of the Barrage Balloons with the W.A.F.F., Nuts Corner, Ireland. Olive came to Canada in 1945 as a war bride. Predeceased by her loving husband, Donald Sr., one son Robbie. Survived by her loving family: 3 sons Don Jr (Maria), Ray, and Al (Susan), all of Port Alberni; one daughter Blanche (Tom) Hamilton, from Qualicum Beach; one sister Blanche Irvine, Belfast Ireland; 11 grandchildren: Bruce, Richard, Randy, Larry, Adrian, Brock, Amanda, Alana, Danny, Shandora and Dustin; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 nieces and many friends.
Graveside service was held Thursday, May 13 at 1:00 p.m. in the Greenwood Cemetery on Josephine Street. Rev. Bill Hudson officiated.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Olive's memory to the charity of one's choice.
