HODGSON, Mary Jane (nee Scott)
March 1, 1924 - February 11, 2007
Born in Scotland, immigrating to Edmonton as a girl, then on to Victoria in 1946. Mary has been a part of Qualicum Beach since 1947, moving here permanently in 1969. She was one of Qualicum’s early business women with Mary’s Flower Shop and Craft Store in the 1970’s. Mary will be dearly missed by her husband of 60 years, Jack, sister Britt (Ron) Stevenson, two daughters, Marjorie (Rick) Watson, Joan (Brian) Harvey, two sons, Leslie (Debra), Dennis (Beverly), nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
We would like to sincerely thank Dr. Wagenaar and the Staff of the Gardens at Qualicum Beach for their compassion and care during her battle with cancer.
 As per Mary’s wishes, there will be no service.
