HARGREAVES, Michael
Born August 9, 1947 – August 12, 2006
Michael Hargreaves (formerly of Courtenay) passed away peacefully August 12th at his home with his wife, son and daughter-in-law by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Linda, daughter Tammy, son Kirk and daughter-in-law Angela; grandsons Deighton and Colton. Brother Larry (Gail), brothers Wayne and Robert, sisters June and Loretta; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Michael was predeceased by his father Clarence in 1986 and his sister Diane in 1988. Michael worked most of his life as a Faller on Vancouver Island’s West Coast. He enjoyed hobby farming, trout fishing and the outdoors. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by us all.
A very special Thank You to Mike’s brother Larry, his wife Gail and their family for everything they’ve done.
An open house will be held on August 26th at 3565 Columbine Road in Whiskey Creek from 1 – 5 p.m.
