Norma Lillian DALAWRAK

Passed away on January 22, 2009 in Qualicum Beach,

at the age of 79 years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph McConnachie, her step-daughter, Liz Beaupré (Andy), of Tahsis, step-grandchildren Ian Hedges and Clare Hedges, four great-grandchildren, her sister, Dorothy White, of Duncan, her brother, Earl Wallace, of Port Alberni, and her brother-in-law, Doug Silver, of Bowser.

She was predeceased by her mother, E. Lily Wallace, her father, Douglas E. Wallace, her son, Wallace McCullough, her sisters, Myrtle (Auntie Mike) Ogloff and Mina Silver, and her brother, Douglas Wallace.

As a long-time resident of the Bowser area, a local businesswoman, a Past President and Life-Member of the Bowser Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, Norma was well-known and well-loved in her community. She was generous with her time and efforts and much appreciated for her clear-speaking. Norma will be very much missed by her family and many, many friends.

A celebration of Norma’s life was held at the Bowser & District Branch # 211 Royal Canadian Legion in Bowser

on Thursday, January 29th at 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Eagle Park Garden Project in Qualicum Beach.

Norma’s family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Eagle Park for their loving care.
