Patti passed away peacefully at the age of 63 years, following a brief illness, on April 10, 2010 at NRGH. She was born in Halifax, NS on April 29, 1946 to Edith Chaisson and the late Joseph Chaisson. Patti is survived by her loving daughter Joelle (Mark and 2 year old granddaughter Julia) of Kelowna, BC and her husband of 31 years, Patrick of Qualicum Beach, BC. She was also a loving ‘bonus mom’ to Tamara of Adelaide, Australia, Lisa (Ward) of Calgary, AB, Karen of Surrey, BC and ‘bonus grandmother’ to Nicole, Austin, Fraser, Lindsay and Casey. Patti was predeceased by her brothers, Donald and David. Employed for 30 years as a secretary, office manager and bookkeeper she worked for several lawyers in Dartmouth, NS and oil companies in Calgary, AB. Patti was an efficient, dynamic organizer with an immediate abundance of compassion and love for all those that she encountered. She will forever be deeply missed.

Visitation will take place on Friday, April 16, 2010, from 3:00 – 4:00 PM at Yates Funeral Home, 1000 Allsbrook Rd Parksville, BC. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 17, 2010 @ 11:00 AM at the Catholic Church of the Ascension, 887 Wembley Rd Parksville, BC with Father Jozef Kobos officiating.
