Born Paulina Luklan in Perehinsko (Ukraine) Poland, she passed away peacefully at home in Comox, British Columbia.
Predeceased by parents William and Anna Luklan; sister Alga and Stella and husband Gordan. Left to mourn her passing are daughter Luela, Comox, BC; son Darrel (Julie) Happy Valley, Labrador/ NL; son Duane (Deborah) St.John’s NL.
She will be lovingly missed by grand-daughters Colleen (Randy) - Comox, BC; Debra - Elzin, Scotland and grandsons Daniel - Mission, BC; Donald (Katrina), Happy Valley, Labrador / NL and great grandson Alex, Gagetown, NB. Also missing her will be nieces Barbara, Penticton BC; Patricia (Yukon), nephew J. Richard, Victoria BC and several great, great grandchildren.
Born in the Ukraine her family emigrated to Alberta, Canada in 1927. After her marriage in 1938 she and husband Gordon lived in New Brunswick; Labrador/ NL; Quebec; Alberta, Northwest territories and British Columbia. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother her family always came first She made good friends wherever she lived. An avid gardener, she also enjoyed crafting, golf, entertaining and welcoming people from all walks of life inot her home.
