FAULKNER, Peter A.
On February 7th, 2010 Peter A. Faulkner succumbed to lung cancer and peacefully passed away.
Peter immigrated from England with his wife Rosa in 1954. He had a successful career in the insurance industry and will be remembered as one of the pioneers of Travel Insurance in B.C. Happily married for nearly 60 years, Peter will also be remembered by many friends as a funny and generous person who enjoyed and appreciated life, even during the last years of his illnesses. Peter and Rosa had moved to Qualicum Beach from West Vancouver 20 years ago.
He will be missed by his wife, Rosa, Daughter Ruth Simons, son-in-law Rob Simons, sister-in-law Ruth Warren and other members of the family and friends.
A special thanks to the caring staff of Trillium Lodge in Parksville who treated him with kindness and great respect.
