Peter James Whiteside
June 23/1936 - Sept 5/2017
Peter, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully on September 5th after his courageous battle with PSP.
He will be missed so much by his wife Anne, children Susan (Brian), Simon (Debbie) and his treasured grandsons, Matthew, Justin and Sean.
One of Peter's great passions in life was sailing and he was fortunate to be able to sail the Caribbean for over twenty years, always with Anne, his co-captain by his side.
Peter and Anne enjoyed an idyllic retirement in Frenchcreek , Parksville doing what they loved most, boating, fishing, golfing and entertaining the grandkids.
Thank you to all who took part in his care, Dr. S. Cresswell at UBC Parkinson's research, Ridge Meadows Hospital and Nicola Lodge in Port Coquitlam.
