Phyllis (Phyl) Cuthill
Born October 21, 1924 in Pakistan,
died February 20, 2017 at The Gardens
in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia.
Phyl moved to England in her early 20’s and later moved to Canada where she settled in Montreal, Quebec. Years later she met James (Jim) Hay Cuthill. Following Jim’s retirement, they settled on Vancouver Island in the community of Qualicum Beach. In 1996 they married.
Phyl had a passion for quilting, gardening and her granddaughter, Tiare. Phyl was a great conversationalist. After Jim’s passing, she kept busy with travelling, and an annual cruise. Phyl later enjoyed taking Sunday day trips to Nanaimo for shopping, dinner and taking in a movie with friends.
She will be greatly missed by her stepdaughter, Heather, granddaughter, Tiare and other family members.
We will always see your “beautiful smile”
