GRANT, Randy Stuart
January 31st, 1949 – March 13th, 2006
With saddened hearts we announce the passing of our much loved husband, dad, papa, son, brother, uncle and friend.
Randy fought his illness privately never giving up hope. His family was his life and he was the happiest on the island enjoying rodeos, boat sales, animals & other strays. Randy’s favorite saying was, “I don’t go where the arbutus don’t grow.”
Randy is predeceased by his dad, Wilbur, and survived by his sole-mate and wife of 28 years, Val, his much adored daughter, Missy (Mark), his cherished son Geoff (Anna) and his delightful granddaughter Kaydance. He is also survived by mother Edna; brothers Wayne (Bonnie), Tim (Carol), Mike (Colette) and sisters-in-law Vivian (John) and Lesley (Lewis) along with many nieces and nephews.
Randy will be remembered for his kindness and non judgmental attitude who always saw the good in everyone who came through his and Val’s door. He will be missed by a multitude of friends.
No funeral by request, but a celebration of Randy’s life will be held at the home Randy built for his family on April 15th at 1:00 pm.
