SIM, Richard Alexander "Dick" Born March 19, 1928 in Port Alberni, BC, passed away calmly at Eagle Park Health Care Facility in Qualicum Beach on December 20, 2004. Predeceased by his wife Gertrude and son Alex. Survived by his daughter Deborah; son George (Kristina); granddaughter Katie; brother Jack (Sandra); sister Marilyn (Bryan); and many nieces and nephews. Dick was a well known commercial fisherman since his boyhood in Bamfield, BC and spoke fondly about his experiences on the sea up until his final days. Dick will finally rest in tranquil waters with his love Gert and eldest son Alex. Interment at Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, B.C.In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
