KING, Robert Arthur
age 67 of Midway, passed away August 31, 2006.
He was born April 12, 1939 in Nanaimo, BC, the son of the late Jim and Marjorie King. He grew up and received schooling in Errington, BC. On March 26, 1960, he was united in marriage to Frankie Sopp, in Errington, BC.
Bob’s career of 37 years with the Ministry of Highways took him many places in BC. He retired in 1994.
Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, curling and woodworking in his retirement years.
Bob is survived by spouse Frankie King, son Shayne (Joy) King, daughter Cindy (Bill) Caillier, brother George (Beryl) King, sisters Edith (Chuck) Stark, Jean (John) Dunbar, Valerie (Ron) Lindstrom, Pat (Bert) Beitel, grandchildren Robbie, Jamie, Amanda and great-grandchild Jadeina.
