THOMPSON, Robert James
Passed away on August 26, 2003 at the age of 83 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Edith; one son Robert (Anne) of Calgary, AB; two grandchildren: Robert and Glen; one brother George of England; three sisters: Marjory of Calgary, Maidie of England, and Peggy of Ireland. One sister Kitty predeceased him.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Bob, originally from Dublin, Ireland, was a long time employee of Woodwards before retiring to the Parksville area in 1984. Bob and Edith spent many happy days camping and touring the island. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nanaimo Regional Hospital would be appreciated.
