WALDIE, Ronald Bruce
Passed away suddenly at the Ridge Meadows Hospital on February 22, 2005.
Ron was born in Vancouver on March 2, 1935 and had resided for the past 49 years in Qualicum Bay, B.C. Ron was the youngest of five sons born to the late Bill and Hettie Waldie. He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers Bob (Jean), late of Qualicum Bay, and
George (Jerry), late of Portland, Oregon. Surviving Ron are brothers Bill (Jessie) of North Vancouver and Jack (Betty) of Victoria, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, the U.S.A., and New Zealand. Ron will also be missed by his many new friends at the
Willow Manor in Maple Ridge. Ron was an active member of the Qualicum Bay Lions Club and served for many years as a volunteer fire-fighter in the Qualicum Bay/Bowser area.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at Lighthouse Community Hall, 240 Lions Ways,
Qualicum Bay with a reception to follow.
