Rosina passed away peacefully at Ty Watson House March 5, 2010 in her 74th year. Survived by her loving husband, Desmond; sons: Jim (Justina) and Bill (Juanita); her sister, Elaine Hicks; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Manfred (Pat). Also brothers William and Laurie Rae-Arthur, and parents Charlotte Adeline and George Rae-Arthur.
Rosina was born in Ahousat on November 12, 1935, and spent most of her life on the West Coast. She was the granddaughter of Ada Annie Rae-Arthur and the great granddaughter of Frederick Thornberg. The waters of the West Coast were in her blood and the winds played a song in her heart.
Internment at her father’s grave in Tofino at 1p.m. on April 9th. Friends are invited to take part in a celebration of her life at the Friendship Center in Port Alberni at 1:00 p.m. on April 10th.
