MACDONALD, Ruth Culham (nee Moorhouse)
died peacefully July 18, 2003 at the Nanaimo Regional Hospital.
Born September 3, 1915 at Islington, Ontario. Together with beloved husband Bruce for 51 years, they lived in Ottawa, Timmins, Eldorado, Edmonton, North Vancouver, 100 Mile House and Qualicum Beach. She was predeceased by Bruce, her brother Wilson and sister Beth.
Always happy and cheerful, Ruth enjoyed life, family and friends to the fullest. She will be missed by her sister Noreen (Don) of Toronto; daughters Peggy (Doug) of Edmonton and Mary (Colin) of North Vancouver and son Don (Doris) of North Vancouver; sisters-in-law Leith and Ellie; grandchildren Diana, Kathy (Kim), Linda, Laura, Ross, Cam and Kim; great grandchildren Connor and Brennan; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins; and many friends.
At Ruth’s request, there will be no service. A celebration of her great life will be held at a later date.
