It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shelagh Marian Pryke. She was predeceased by her husband David Scott Pryke in 2013. They were married 57 years.
Shelagh is survived by her 4 children; Nigel (Eloise), Janet, Peter (Eileen) and Susan along with her grandchildren Christopher, Ryan, Trevor, Shaune, Manuel, Naomi, Acalli and Kimani. She is also survived by her sister Patsy (Brenda) in Oxford, England and her brother Peter (Janet) in Canberra, Australia.
Shelagh taught Gr. 11 & 12 Physics for 30 years in England, Stratford, Ontario and Qualicum Beach, BC. Her passion was travel and has journeyed to the Antarctic, cruised the Amazon River, explored Cuba, Costa Rica, Mexico, Guatamala, Nicaragua, Spain, England, New Zealand and Australia. Her last trip was to Vietnam and Cambodia at the age of 76.
