In loving memory of
Levesque, Sue,
(nee Fraser)
who passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday February 7, 2005.
She was born in Vancouver March 18, 1933 and has lived in Qualicum since 1983. She will be sadly missed by her loving and devoted husband Edmond Levesque, mother Yvonne Shaw, brother Dana and Pat, son Thomas Larsen and Merrilee, daughter Brenda Larsen,
daughter Cindy Ladner and Steve, stepson Pierre Levesque and Delphine, grandchildren Paul, Roger, Tom, Ted, Kate, Daniel, Jeffrey and her many good friends. Sue had a wonderful love of life, including music, books, birds and people. She was loving and compassionate to all of her family and friends even though she suffered much physical pain in her last years. The following verse is the true essence of Sue’s faith and spirituality
Do not stand at my grave & weep,
I am not here. I do not sleep,
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints of snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn’s rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I did not die.
I am the comfort left from the hereafter.
I am the soothing song of laughter.
Rest in Peace Sue
A Celebration of Life in honour of Sue will be held at St. Edmunds Anglican Church in Parksville
