MACLEOD, Thelma Bodill

Died peacefully on December 21, 2002

After a brave battle with cancer, Thelma Bodill Macleod, surrounded by loving friends and the wonderful staff at Eagle Park Lodge, died peacefully December 21, 2002.

Born November 10, 1932 at Thornaby-on-Tees, England, she was predeceased by husbands James Bodill and Torquil Macleod. She will be sadly missed by her niece, Elizabeth Bodill (Steve), step-son Norman Macleod (Lucy), many good friends and neighbours and by her much-loved “Murphy.”

Thelma was a gifted dog trainer. She loved golf, music, needlework and the beauties of Nature. She had a quiet sense of humour and a deep enduring faith in God.

Many thanks to the caring staff at Eagle Park Lodge, to Dr. Claire Bigalow, and to Rev. Phil Spencer.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28, at St. Stephen’s United Church on Village Way in Qualicum Beach.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Parksville SPCA or to a charity of your choice in her name would be much appreciated.
