GIBBONS, Verna R. Born in Calgary 1919, Passed away peacefully in Eagle Park, Qualicum Beach, BC on June 2, 2002She is survived by her loving family; her husband John of 61 years; two daughters, Margaret and husband Doug Reeder of Fanny Bay, Lois Moffalt and husband Eric Ferguson of Mississauga, Ontario; grandchildren, Thad (Wendy), Quinn (Stacey), Jason (Tracy), Travis, Tara (Jim) and Derek; great grandchildren, Madilyn, Paige, Cole and baby Teague and one sister Evelyn Forbes of Vancouver. Verna was a former employee of the Hudson Bay Co. of Victoria and her special love was her cat and dog. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and many friends. Private family cremation For those so desiring, donations in memory of Verna may be made to the Alzheimer Society. The family would like to convey a special thanks to Dr. C. Biglow and all the nursing staff, Drs. of the Eagle Park Health Care Facility and especially to the staff and volunteers of the pink wing.
