Born November 16th, 1935 and ?passed away peacefully in his sleep ?on December 12th, 2007 after a ?courageous battle with cancer
Survived by his loving wife, Fran and two daughters Jean (Buck) and Barb (Evan), four grandchildren Tyler, Leanne, Sean and Chelsea. Brother Leo (Emma) and nieces and nephews.
Walter was born and raised in Ontario. Served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 35 years. Moved to Parksville upon his retirement and enjoyed his gardening along with spending time with family and friends.
We respect his wishes to have no service.
A tea in his honor will be held on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007 ?at 783 Daffodil Drive, Parksville, from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
