VAN APPELEN, Wandert Dirk
Born November 17, 1935
Born in Amsterdam, Holland, passed away suddenly in his sleep on March 27, 2003, at the young age of 67, he is sleeping soundly with the Lord and awaiting that trumpet sound. A long time resident of Vancouver Island, since 1952. Predeceased by his parents; Dirk J. van Appelen and Jaquie van Appelen (Dekkers). He leaves his loving wife Heather Anne van Appelen (Langille), his son Nathan van Appelen (Darlene) and daughter Rhoda Orr (Rex). His sister Annette Murphy (Brian) and brother Richard van Appelen (Karen), and also the apples of his eye, grandchildren, Jonathan, Alysha, Kendrik and Sherilyn. Several nieces, nephews and all his brothers and sisters in Christ at the Nanaimo Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
