LADOUCEUR, Warren Dale

Born on March 2, 1952, passed away on July 26, 2007 in Campbell River, B.C.

Warren was predeceased by his father, Leo and his mother, Fern (nee Clark) Ladouceur; his sisters, Donalda Miller on August 9, 2004 and Colleen Ladouceur on November 27, 2004. He is survived by his loving wife Carol and their adopted Children, Don (Angela) and Maria (Lance) Sandberg.

Warren and Carol had no children of their own and took on the role of father and mother to their niece and nephew. Warren is also survived by his grandchildren, Jordyn, Kyra, Jesse and Tiffany; his siblings, Allen (Rose), Larry, Duane (Josie), Donald (Bev) and Clifford (Debbie). He also leaves many nieces, nephews, other relatives whom he loved so dearly and Susan & Bill Scott and Peggy & Leonard Ball with whom he was very close. Warren leaves also his special friends, Bob & Joan Hamling, Jen Bader, Dennis Cork, Helen Hilton, Fred & Donna Harris and many others. He also dearly loved Donna and Anne.

Warren worked hard all his life. He grew up in the Bowser area and eventually moved to Courtenay, BC. Warren was born in Alberta and moved to Qualicum, BC when he was young and attended school there. At the age of 14 he went bridge building with his father Leo. Eventually he met Carol, with whom he has spent the past 38 years. They moved first to Cumberland, BC, where he worked in the logging industry and then to Campbell River, BC, where Warren worked for Lemon Point Logging, until his death on July 26, 2007. Although he was a shy, quiet, man, he had many friends throughout the Island whose company he enjoyed, sharing many good times and who will all surely miss him.

A Service to Celebrate Warren’s Life will be held at the?Courtenay Civic Cemetery, Courtenay, BC, on Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 1:00 p.m., where Warren will be laid to rest with his sisters, Donalda and Colleen.?A reception will follow the Service at the Cumberland?Legion, 2770 Dunsmuir Avenue, Cumberland, BC.

In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in Memory of Warren may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation, British Columbia/Yukon Regional Office, 109-828 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5Z 1E2.
