Wayne passed away suddenly on July 10, 2009
at the age of 70.
He worked for twenty-five years at Island Copper in Port Hardy before gleefully retiring to the shores of Qualicum Bay. While others toiled, Wayne and his wife Joan built a life of laughter, gourmet meals, strong drink and even stronger friendships. Wayne turned life into a feast and everyone he loved was invited. He savored each day including the last one, and while he might have wanted it delayed a tad, he wouldn’t have changed a moment of it.
He is survived by Joan, his wife of forty-three years, and his two sons and their families: Ross, his wife Tanya and their two children Roan and Jolina; and Keith, his wife Kelly, and their two children Tyler and Ella.
