In Loving Memory ~

William (Bill) Charles Reid, of Parksville, BC passed away on February 11, 2024, after a well-lived 91 years. Bill was born on February 03, 1933, in Leamington, ON.

He worked his early years on tugboats in British Columbia, then came back home to Windsor, Ontario and worked at Whiteman's Furniture. In his later years, he worked as a milkman at Borden's Dairy, moving up to a managerial position.

He was promoted to Borden's Dairy in Chatham, ON, in 1974 and later started a Beatrice Dairy distributorship, building a large and successful business, which he sold in 1989.

Bill and his loving wife Reitha then fulfilled a life-long dream and moved to beautiful Parksville, BC, to retire on the coast. Bill had a love for the outdoors, kayaking, golfing, fishing, and playing pickleball. Bill was an avid pool player and loved his casinos.

He is survived by his three sons, Donald, Brian and Michael Reid, 8 grandchildren, and his wife Reitha Reid, who resides in Surrey, BC, 1 sister Marion O'Keefe, 2 brothers Stan Reid of North Bay, Ontario and Harold Reid of Windsor, Ontario.

Bill Reid will be greatly missed, as hard worker,

a great man, an incredible father, and loving husband.

In celebration of Bill Reid's life, there will be a Celebration of Life, in Parksville, BC, on May 25th, at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #49, 146 Hirst Ave Parksville, BC, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm PST
