Bill was born in Northumberland, England
April 02, 1922 and passed away in Qualicum Beach on February 07, 2010 aged 87 years.
He is survived by 1 Son – Edwin (Ted) Brown of Ottawa, Ontario, 2 daughters – Susan (Bill) Trimble of Beijing, China and Heather (Brad) Cairns of Ottawa, Ontario. He is also survived by his Grandchildren – Geoffrey (Molly) Trimble, Withanie (Trent) Lemke, Patrick Trimble, Maggie Brown and Allison Brown. His Great Grandchildren – Gavin Aimoe-
Lemke, Madeleine Lemke and Holly Lemke. Bill is predeceased by his wives Vivienne Brown and Edith Brown.
Family members are grateful to Granddaughter Withanie for selfless devotion and loving companionship to her Grandpa during his senior years. “You filled his days with joy Withanie”
The trails behind the Qualicum Beach Civic Center were a favourite walking place. At the end of the bridge is a ribbon tree in memory of Grandpa, started by his great granddaughter Madeleine. Friends are invited to enjoy a walk along the trail in Memory of Bill Brown. Feel free to add a ribbon if you wish.
Bill was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Moosomin, Saskatchewan and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #79 in Qualicum, and the Qualicum Beach Kiwanis Club.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in his hometown of Moosomin, Saskatchewan
