Predeceased by her son Paul in 1994.
Joyce is survived by her loving husband Del Kempf and Children: Daughter Kathleen (Bill Wishlow), son Tony, son Michael (Dana Egan), son Jonathan, son Peter (Leslie Tilander); as well as, three granddaughters, three grandsons, and two great-granddaughters.
Joyce was born in Dover, England and moved to Canada as a young woman in 1946 as a war bride. She was a long-time resident of Vancouver and Burnaby. She and Del moved to Qualicum in early 2007.She was a member of the White Eagle Lodge in Sussex England, and recently became an Inner Sister. Mom was very artistic with an appreciation for architecture and fine arts.
The Service is on January 16, 2009 at Yates Funeral Chapel,
attended by immediate family only.
