Williams, Winnifred (Winnie) May nee Jones passed away December 27, 2004 in her 85th year. Late of Qualicum Beach and formerly of Edmonton, Alberta. Winnie was predeceased in 2001 by Walter, her loving husband of 61 years; children Baby Trevor (1956) and Kenneth (1999); sister Doreen and brothers Ken and Lloyd. She leaves many loving memories with her children Gary (Lee), Paisley Island B.C.; Gail, Calgary; Bob (Shar), Edmonton; Dale (Elaine), Calgary; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sister Iris, Edmonton; brothers Syd, Consort and Don, Edmonton; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives plus many dear friends throughout B.C. and Alberta. A Celebration of Life gathering was held in Qualicum Beach on January 6, 2005 and a second Celebration will take place in Edmonton at a date yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice. The family wishes to thank Dr. M. Atherstone as well as Eagle Park Health Care Facility and Halliday House for their special care of Mum.
