Bud was predeceased by his first wife Lan, 1997, son Larry, 1949 and sister Betty Sage.
He is survived by his wife Daphne, son Terry (Cherie) of Errington, daughter Cheryl (Richard) Dobler of Parksville, 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, brother Jerry (Pat) of Ontario, sister Sandra Book of Ontario and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 24, 2008, 1:00 PM, at Yates Funeral Chapel, Parksville, BC. Reception to follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Parksville, BC.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bud’s memory may be made to the BC Cancer Foundation, Nanaimo North Town Centre, Unit 203 – 4750 Rutherford Rd., Nanaimo, BC V9T 4K6.
