LAIRD, Zoe EleanorÂ
March 23, 1915 - January 3, 2007
Zoe passed away peacefully at Trillium Lodge, Parksville, and is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years Bill (W.D). Zoe was born in Watrous Saskatchewan and worked as a secretarial stenographer. Zoe was an enthusiastic and tireless worker for all that she undertook, was an informed and dedicated supporter of many groups that involved social justice, environmental and women’s issues, and a faithful member of St. Anne’s/St. Edmund’s Anglican church.
A memorial service for Zoe is tentatively planned for Saturday, February 24, at 2 pm in St. Edmund’s Anglican Church, 407 Wembley Road at Church Road.
