Cave a credit to the community

I really enjoyed Neil Horner’s wonderful article in today’s edition of the paper, regarding Bill Cave and his band performing on Bill Pattison’s yacht (The News, Oct. 9).

It was a very interesting tale about a couple of alumni from the legendary Kits Boys Band enjoying an evening of music and relaxation.

I had the great pleasure of working with Bill Cave in the early 1980s during the opening and development of Kwalikum Secondary School, and always had the utmost admiration for this gifted gentleman who passed on his love of music to many hundreds of students.

Bill Cave is a very talented and giving person. Our community is all the better for having him as a resident musician emeritus.

Just keep on playing Bill. You are the best!
