Thanks Grumpy Old Men

On behalf of Society of Organized Services, I would like to thank a bunch of “grumpy old men” who came together last Saturday night to help kids and youth in the Oceanside Community. The Grumpy Old Men Oldtimers Hockey Tournament raised $3,242 for the SOS Recreation Assistance for Children and Youth (RACY) Program, which will allow SOS to provide financial assistance to kids who want to learn to skate, or get involved in hockey.

Our heartfelt thanks to all the players, the businesses that provided amazing door prizes, the RDN, as well as the fans, who came out to enjoy a night of hockey and support SOS. Because of you, you will see some happy young faces on the ice this year, who wouldn’t be there without your support.
