What great news to read in your March 16 paper that the Little Qualicum River Regional Park size has more than doubled.
This type of corporate legacy by Wicklow West Holdings Ltd. has tremendous community value for citizens of the region and for future generations. Besides the obvious environmental benefits of creating a greater continuous ribbon of greenbelt along the Little Qualicum River, this decision will enhance the recreational value for local residents and visitors alike.
Having trail access from Corcan road and internal trail linkages and bridge crossings to other park trails will no do doubt be welcomed.
