I’d like to give my sincere thanks to the many people whose quick action and kindness meant so much to me and my husband on July 29, after I tripped on the sidewalk outside Quality Foods and severely injured myself.
The staff at Quality Foods who rushed to my aid, offered comfort and called the ambulance. The paramedics were amazingly quick to arrive, so friendly and reassuring. The team at the Nanaimo hospital who immediately assessed me and patiently explained everthing that was happing to me.
A broken nose, fractured wrist and lots of stitches — not a pleasant day. But I am so grateful to live in such a wonderful community where neighbours truly do care for each other. Thank you.
