Re: ‘Resident concerned with unleashed dogs roaming in Englishman River Park’ (www.pqbnews.com, Feb. 11)
I can testify that in more than 20 years of walking my dog down there I have never had anything remotely considered aggressive enough to warrant having all dogs on leashes.
Sure a few dogs have jumped up with happy greetings.
That’s OK, they are dogs not robots. There has been a couple of scuffles between dogs but nothing serious enough that couldn’t be immediately stopped. As for dog waste there is some here and there but it’s not like walking in a mine field.
I usually kick it off the trail to avoid complaints.
Let the dogs run! Happy, healthy fun. Like you they are not perfect and shouldn’t be expected to be.
