Refreshing, yes, but it’s about time
RE: Man turns himself in (The News, Feb. 5) I do agree with the author that it is great to see this young man turn himself in and choose to take the correct route. However, I must say that I disagree with the portrayal of this person as such a nice young man who realized his wrong doing. This is not the case what so ever.
This young man was warned numerous times, and only decided to turn himself in when he knew charges were being sought against him.
Regardless, as stated in the article it is refreshing to see someone choose the right path. In the future, it would be better to have a more objective view of situations such as this.
