Poor priorities
The B.C. liberal government are spending millions telling us how wonderful we are doing in B.C. even though because of our debt we have been downgraded in our credit rating, which means spending more money servicing our debt that our children will inherit.
We are putting in place training for the million jobs that will eventuate by 2020. Do they know that as a fact? Of course not, but it sounds good.
This government spends less on hearing-aid subsidies than any other province in Canada. Considering that 50 per cent of those over 65 have hearing loss, they hardly represent an area that has such a large percentage over 65 years old, but they can spend $15 million on a Bollywood festival in Vancouver.
