Cut out the hysteria
I have read so many positive and negative claims about the impact of smart meters, for example, that BC Hydro even knows when we are taking a shower (as distinct from running the washing machine), that I am left confused about their veracity.
Like many readers of The NEWS, I expect, I would welcome factual evidence, from independent research organizations, of specific harm caused by smart meters.
Then I can read these analyses and decide for myself on the alleged threat. In particular, I invite past letter writers to The NEWS to come up with this hard information. Let me stress this: I don’t find hysteria persuasive.
