Letters to the Editor

Our watershed needs you

Thank you for the coverage of the MVIHES presentation called Englishman River Watershed Health and You, where we heard updates on habitat status, groundwater studies and aquifer storage and recovery.

I also want to remind your readers that another important part of this watershed presentation was “You.”

People need to be aware of the challenges the watershed faces in the future and take action now to ensure its long term health.

Over the next few months, MVIHES professionals will be offering training sessions and field study so that we can expand our on-going program of monitoring, awareness and restoration in the Englishman River Watershed. See more on our website www.mvihes.bc.ca.
