Moral conflict

At a recent council meeting, Coun. Dave Willie was questioned regarding his acceptance of campaign donations from four members of the Dutton family. This same family is now before council asking for rezoning of their property.

Willie contends there is no conflict of interest if he votes on the issue. Legally speaking, he is probably correct. Morally speaking, he is dead wrong.
