Rock’n teachers

On behalf of the teachers and support staff of Oceanside Middle School: you have “rocked our world.”

Thursday, June 26, on what should have been students’ last day of school, we arrived for our daily picket duty and discovered a rockin’ act of kindness. Strategically hidden along the picket route, we found 15 rocks that were artistically painted and with thoughtful sayings such as “Oceanside’s Finest,” “We Love Teachers,” “Teachers Rock” and even “U Can’t Scare me I’m a District 69 Teacher!”

To whoever took the time and effort to do this for us, thank-you for showing your support in such a selfless, thoughtful way. It’s rockin’ people like you who keep us inspired and remind us of how lucky we are to be part of such a wonderful community.
