RDN survey important

Re: ‘RDN says it wants your comments on RGS’ (The NEWS, Aug. 16).

After reading the article I responded to the survey and encourage the residents of Nanoose Bay to do the same.

This survey about the regional growth strategy (RGS) measures the community view of progress toward the RGS goals. The RGS guides regional sustainability and land use decisions that impact quality of life for RDN residents.

In November we will be electing a new director in Area E. If you want your views known, this is your opportunity to voice them. The more people who respond, the better the directors will be informed.

The RDN is even offering prizes to survey participants.
