From early morning to sunset, Canada Day was a perfect day in Qualicum Beach.
Beautiful to witness the unveiling of the Echo Theatre mural; I love when the market is on the corner of Fern & Memorial – it feels more festive somehow; the parade was locally lovely; the beer garden was thirst-quenching; the walk through history was enlighteningly interesting; and Buddy Holly was fantastic… topped only by sharing the day with friends and the incredible people of QB.
Thank you for the fantastic organization that went into this memorable day. Walking through town today (Sunday, July 2) there are virtually no reminders of yesterday’s festivities. I am always amazed and impressed how quickly the Town of QB is cleaned up and ready for the next event.
I love this Town and its people – thank you for my best Canada Day ever!
