Great to see the students helping build the structure at their school.
However, the staff involved should be aware of a few things missing from the photograph accompanying the story in this issue.
No safety boots, safety glasses, hard hats, fall arrest harnesses or gloves (handling sharp plastic sheets). No handrail on the scaffold to prevent falls.
While I love the idea of exposing the students to industry, let’s start them off on the right foot with a safe environment.
