Re: Support for Salish Sea as UNESCO site grows (The NEWS, April 11).
It was great to read the article on raising awareness of the Salish Sea for nomination to the UNESCO Heritage Site Status. There are events and things that come along during our short life that allow some of the great things we have had the opportunity to enjoy to be passed on for generations.
We all live around the Salish Sea because of the beauty and bounty it provides. It is like the Mediterranean of British Columbia. If you have never supported anything or will be unable to support anything in the future, this one is for you.
Chances to make a difference do not come along often, so stand up and help support the designation of the Salish Sea as an UNESCO Heritage Site. You owe it to the future.
