I have received two recorded phone messages in the last few days from a male with a British accent, claiming to represent the Canada Revenue Agency, who claims there is an arrest warrant issued in my name and that I should call 613-505-4134.
This is a scam. Revenue Canada never calls with a recorded message, so please advise people not to call the number if they receive a similar call and to never give out personal information, such as their SIN or date of birth, over the phone to an unknown person.
