Vibrant community requires cross-section of people

A comment in the March 30 article, on the lack of affordable housing being a concern for QB residents, caught my attention.

Isaac Morgan raised the question about strata developments with age restrictions controlling access to housing.

It may be true that some strata developments have bylaws that attempt to favour older adults, but these bylaws are clear human rights violations and could not be enforced if challenged in court.

Besides, how boring it would be to live in a community where everyone is a certain age. A vibrant and alive community, by definition, has a cross-section of people representing all ages and stages of life.
