Island barrel racing returns to Coombs

Riders from up and down the Island took to the Coombs Rodeo Grounds on Saturday for the second stop of Island Barrel Racing’s summer series.

Local rider Donna Jagr was back in the mix. Amanda McCallam and her horse Coy went into the day as the series points leader, and IBR founder Charla Nikkels turned in the fastest run of the day.
