Qualicum Beach relinquishes lawn bowling trophy to Nanaimo

QUALICUM BEACH — This year’s Triples Tournament between the Qualicum Beach and Nanaimo Lawn Bowling Clubs took place on July 16 and 17. Out of 16 teams stat started play, it was Qualicum Beach and Nanaimo in a tie for the championship. The winner was determined by ends won with QB scoring 220 and Nanaimo 221. Dave Pearcey, games director for QB, relinquished the trophy they had proudly displayed for a year to Jeff Dixon, President, Nanaimo.
